Marvel Studios is starting to scale back on its television output.
According to a new report from Collider, the studio will be releasing far fewer series as part of the MCU following the release of VisionQuest.
While it was previously believed more series would come out, that is no longer happening.
However, this will not affect previously renewed shows like Daredevil: Born Again and X-Men ’97, which will both be debuting new seasons later this year. Any potential miniseries that are being developed will also continue.
Recently, it was announced that Wonder Man will not get a second season, despite being renewed.
While Marvel is scaling back on television shows, the MCU films are still in full effect. The next movie to be released is Avengers: Doomsday in December, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027. There are also several other films in the works, including X-Men.
Recently, Marvel has found great success in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is breaking box office records. The movie also introduced a key character for the upcoming X-Men movie.
