Marvel has shared the first-look trailer for VisionQuest during the entertainment showcase at D23 on Friday night (August 15)!
The third series in the overall WandaVision trilogy, VisionQuest will debut this October on Disney+ and brings Paul Bettany back as Vision, with James Spader returning as Ultron from 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.
“It’s been an enormous joy playing Vision as he’s evolved through the years, helped turned the tide in some enormous battles, rather inconveniently died a number of times. Although I’m told in the Marvel universe no one is really dead, unless Kevin says they are,” Paul said ahead of unveiling the trailer.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, VisionQuest “follows the 2021 serise WandaVision, which dealt with Wanda Maximoff’s (Elizabeth Olsen) grief after the death of Vision in Avengers: Infinity War. The story continued with Agatha All Along (2024), centered on WandaVision antagonist Agatha (Kathryn Hahn).”
VisionQuest will premiere on October 14, 2026.
Also at D23, Marvel announced the full X-Men cast for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The first official X-Men movie won’t hit theaters until 2028, but now we know who is joining the already-announced stars like Sadie Sink as Jean Grey and Kit Connor as Cyclops.
