Khloé Kardashian has no problem spending the holidays with her ex.
The Good American co-founder spent July 4th in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, attending a local parade and celebrating with some delicious food.
In photos obtained by Daily Mail, Thompson could be seen at the parade with his ex and their two children.
On Instagram, Kardashian shared pictures of herself celebrating with a group of kids that included True Thompson, 8, Tatum Thompson, who turns 4 later this month, and her niece Dream Kardashian, 9.
The reality TV star celebrated America 250 in a red T-shirt that said “USA” on it, while the kids were all matching in red, white and blue merch and face glitter.
Khloé captioned her carousel, “HBD USA 🇺🇸.”
The mom of two and Tristan didn’t always have the smoothest relationship.
The pair had an on-again, off-again romance between 2016 and 2021, a period marked by multiple allegations that the basketball player had been unfaithful, according to People.
One of the biggest scandals in their relationship came when it was revealed that Tristan had fathered a child with Maralee Nichols after the two had a sexual relationship while he and Khloé were still together. Maralee gave birth to their son, Theo, in December 2021.
Writing in an Instagram Story in early January 2022, the NBA pro said, “Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”
Addressing Khloé directly, he added, “Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
The two later welcomed Tatum together, though they were not in a relationship at the time.
The pair continue to co-parent amicably.
Tristan was included in Khloé’s recent birthday celebrations, too, as seen in her Instagram post from June 30.
Many commenters questioned why Tristan had been invited to the celebration given the couple’s highly publicized history. Khloé, however, defended the decision. After one person asked why he was there, she replied, “because his children asked for him to come,” according to BuzzFeed.
