Robinson is facing charges in the suspected cocaine trafficking ring at Penn State
Thomas Robinson, the man facing charges as a leader in the suspected cocaine trafficking ring out of two Penn State fraternity houses, will no longer attend law school this fall after his admission was rescinded.
Robinson, 23, of Churchill is accused of “selling large amounts of cocaine” from Penn State’s Delta Upsilon fraternity house, according to a criminal complaint. At the time, he was a member of the off-campus fraternity and a student.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday said evidence shows cocaine was primarily packaged at fraternity houses, which are located off campus.
“Packaging was done by fraternity brothers and oftentimes pledges,” he said at a news conference. “In fact, we found a pattern of events that showed cutting and bagging cocaine was for some pledges an indoctrination into the Delta Upsilon and Sigma Chi fraternities.”
Thomas Robinson was indicted last week, along with 12 others who were Penn State students in 2023 and 2024. His father, Paul Robinson, a prominent Pittsburgh attorney, also faces criminal charges in connection with the case.
Thomas Robinson, who is a 2021 Central Catholic graduate, was planning to attend New England Law Boston this fall, following in the footsteps of his father.
