The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR), in conjunction with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), is issuing a Health & Safety Advisory due to the identification of contaminated and potentially contaminated Regulated Marijuana Flower (bud/shake/trim) produced by Natural Alternatives for Health Corp.
The CDPHE and DOR deem it a threat to public health and safety when marijuana is found to have Total Yeast and Mold and Aspergillus above the acceptable limits established in Colorado Marijuana Rule 4‐215. This advisory includes Harvest Batches tested and found to
have exceeded acceptable limits established for Total Yeast and Mold and Aspergillus.
Additionally, this advisory includes potentially contaminated Harvest Batches of Regulated
Marijuana that were cultivated around the same time and place as the contaminated batches.
The affected product is listed in the advisory by license number and Harvest Batch, and was sold at two stores between January 9, 2026, and April 19, 2026: the adult-use (retail) and medical Natural Alternatives for Health Corp. stores in Fort Collins.
Consumers who possess this affected product should destroy it or return it to the store from which it was purchased for proper disposal. Consumers who experience adverse health effects after consuming the affected product should seek medical attention immediately and report the event to the MED by submitting a MED Reporting Form.
