The June 3 Scary Movie premiere doubled as a rare outing for Anna Faris and her 13-year-old son, Jack, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Pratt.
Faris dazzled in a black sequin halter-neck gown for the event, while Jack opted for a black suit with a white shirt underneath. The duo was joined on the red carpet by Faris’ husband, cinematographer Michael Barrett, and his children, Margot and Dashiell.
Faris and Pratt, who now co-parent Jack, born in 2012, tied the knot in 2009 and were married for eight years before separating in 2017 and divorcing in 2018.
Pratt went on to marry Katherine Schwarzenegger the following year and welcomed three children, Lyla, Eloise and Ford, in 2020, 2022 and 2024, respectively. Faris, on the other hand, married Barrett, who has two children from his previous marriage, in 2021.

Jack, who usually stays away from the public eye, was born premature with serious health issues and spent the first few weeks of life in the NICU. In her 2017 memoir Unqualified, Faris detailed Jack’s health battle as a baby.
“The pediatric neurosurgeon sat Chris and me down to tell us that Jack had some severe brain bleeding and there was a chance that he could be developmentally disabled,” Faris wrote in the book (per People).

In an early 2018 episode of her “Unqualified” podcast, Faris further revealed that her son had undergone several surgeries growing up. “Jack had a few surgeries; he had a few hernia surgeries, he’s had a few eye surgeries and he had a little heart issue as well,” she shared (per E! News).
In 2021, Jack’s past health struggles fueled serious backlash for his famous father. In November that year, Pratt shared a post praising Schwarzenegger on Instagram and left a remark that was deemed extremely insensitive at the time.

The caption of the post read, in part, “She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes i put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that’s love!”
Pratt’s words were criticized by a huge number of people on the internet. One person tweeted at the time, “I love Chris Pratt. but the ‘healthy daughter’ part is made me wince. Although he may not have meant it as an insult, it sort of came off that way. Imagine how that will make his son feel, if he ever reads it?”

A year later, Pratt addressed the backlash in an interview with Men’s Health. “My son’s gonna read that one day. He’s nine. And it’s etched in digital stone. It really f****** bothered me, dude. I cried about it,” he told the outlet.
Still, Pratt is grateful for his son.
In August 2025, Pratt celebrated Jack’s 13th birthday with a collage of photos shared on his Instagram Stories. “Jack, I can’t believe you are 13 today. I’ve watched you grow into such an incredible young man, and am truly proud of the person you are becoming,” he wrote over the collage.
