Webinar: Australia – NSW – Attracting Investment in Hemp 17 Sept 2026

IHemp NSW is proud to bring you Karina Tyler, Investment Manager Industry, in Regional Economic Development at the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.

Karina will present on the NSW Industrial Hemp Investment Prospectus. The prospectus has been developed to deliver on action items from the hemp Industry Development Plan and aims to promote the competitive advantages of the industrial hemp industry in NSW and attract further investment into the sector and value-add industries.

The industrial hemp prospectus presents a significant value-added manufacturing opportunity for NSW, with strong potential across sustainable construction materials, plant-based proteins, cosmetics and fibre products.

The industrial hemp sector is being driven by global trends toward decarbonisation, sustainable manufacturing and plant-based consumption. Reflecting these market drivers, the prospectus outlines a vision for industrial hemp to become a mainstream broadacre crop and a key source of low-carbon, circular economy products while creating new opportunities for value-added manufacturing, regional investment and export growth across NSW.

If you are in the hemp industry – you can’t afford to miss this!
