Tyler Hynes is opening up about becoming an ornament.
The 40-year-old Hallmark Channel fan-favorite actor spoke out in a new interview about the process of making himself into a Hallmark Christmas ornament.
During Hallmark Channel’s 25th Birthday panel in New York City, he spoke about the experience in detail.

“I never had to look at myself so much. It was a disturbing experience…it was lovely,” he amusingly recalled, via People.
“It was a really lovely, seamless process of figuring out how their process works and how I can be of service, and find something that might be interesting and maybe useful. And then we began dissecting my face, which was a horror movie,” he went on to say.

The ornament features his face and a candy cane behind one of his ears, plus brass charms representing his beloved dog Rusty James and his annual Boot Shot Tradition.

“I have three versions of the ornament on my phone. If you guys were to see these…yeah. One, I looked like Andrew Walker‘s jaw. Way more chiseled than I could ever achieve. And then the other swung the other direction. But, yeah, somehow… It’s a process. It’s really, really a hard thing to do. And I think, I don’t know if they’ve done something quite like that,” he went on to say.
