The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR), in conjunction with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), is issuing a Health & Safety Advisory due to the identification of non-botanically derived compounds in Vaporizer Delivery Devices produced by Workhorse Global LLC and WH Acoma LLC.
The CDPHE and DOR deem it a threat to public health and safety when Vaporizer Delivery Devices are found to contain Ingredients that are not botanically derived or listed on the FDA Inactive Ingredient Database. Such ingredients are prohibited for use in Vaporizer Delivery Devices by Colorado Marijuana Rule 3-335.
In collaboration with the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED), Workhorse Global LLC and WH Acoma LLC are initiating a recall for the affected batches. The affected product is listed in the advisory by license number and Production Batches, and was sold at 320 stores and hospitality businesses, both Medical and Retail, between August 14, 2025, and May 31, 2026. Consumers who possess this affected product should destroy it or return it to the store from which it was purchased for proper disposal. Consumers who experience adverse health effects after consuming the affected product should seek medical attention immediately and report the event to the MED by submitting a MED Reporting Form.
