Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce surprised guests at their rehearsal dinner with lavish keepsakes featuring real diamonds.
According to reports, attendees leaving the July 2 event carried black velvet gift boxes embossed with the couple’s initials. A source told Page Six that each box contained a single champagne flute embellished with actual diamonds.
The presentation reportedly went beyond the diamond-adorned glassware. Each box also included a commemorative card wrapped in distressed fabric printed with what appeared to be the garden backdrop from the couple’s engagement photos. The package was finished with a silver wax seal.
The exclusive rehearsal dinner brought together around 100 guests at the Infosys Theater inside Madison Square Garden. The guest list included Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff and Ashley Avignone.
Sports broadcaster Erin Andrews attended the event with her husband, former NHL player Jarret Stoll. Swift’s longtime publicist, Tree Paine; childhood friend, Abigail Anderson; Kelce’s manager, Amanda Santa; his longtime friend, Reggie King, along with his wife, Sarah, and sports commentator Charissa Thompson were also spotted.
Details emerging from the venue suggest the wedding embraces an elaborate garden-inspired aesthetic. According to Page Six, it has been decorated with oversized floral installations featuring peach and pink blooms accented by lush greenery. Madison Square Garden was also illuminated with pink lighting ahead of the festivities.
Further reports indicate that one section of the arena has been transformed into a forest-inspired setting. The space reportedly includes trees, grass-like carpeting, white circular sofas, cocktail tables, multiple bars and a big white staircase. Green and pink are said to dominate the overall color palette.
Among the high-profile names expected to attend the July 3 wedding celebration are Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, the Haim sisters, Suki Waterhouse, Sombr, Mariska Hargitay, Cara Delevingne and Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid. Selena Gomez is reportedly expected to serve as one of Swift’s bridesmaids.
A latest report from Page Six, citing sources, claimed that Swift and Kelce had already legally tied the knot before their public wedding ceremony. The NFL star proposed last year after the couple dated for two years.
