Days before the couple’s rumored wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Page Six reported that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may have already exchanged vows in a private ceremony. According to their source, this intimate affair had only a handful of close ones in attendance.
Neither Swift nor Kelce has confirmed the marriage or commented on the wedding speculation that has consumed New York City this week. The couple got engaged in August 2025, after dating for two years.
The outlet cited several anonymous sources in its report. While no one has come out with outright certainty, Swift’s private jet was reportedly spotted making a string of stops at places tied to the couple’s families.
Based on the flight tracking info as reported by Page Six, the plane traveled from Nashville to Philadelphia, where Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce lives, then made a stop at Tampa, home to Swift’s father, Scott Swift, before returning to Nashville and eventually heading back to New York.
While New York State wedding licenses are sealed once filed, the outlet’s sources at Manhattan’s City Clerk’s Office, the government agency that issues marriage licenses in the city, said no application had been filed under Swift or Kelce’s names.
“We would know,” their source confirmed.
However, the Madison Square Garden festivities are proceeding regardless. According to the outlet, the couple planned a rehearsal dinner-style event for 100 guests on Thursday at the arena’s Infosys Theater, followed by a celebration for more than 1,000 guests on Friday, July 3.
According to People, celebrity guests including Jack Antonoff, Lena Dunham, Greg Olsen, Erin Andrews, Charissa Thompson and Aric Jones were spotted arriving at MSG. Many were dressed in sequined and jewel-toned eveningwear.
Stevie Nicks and Kenny Chesney are reportedly expected to perform during the festivities, alongside Ed Sheeran, one of Swift’s closest friends.
According to a New York Times report, a permit filed by event production company Winick Productions closed streets around the venue from July 2 through midday July 4 and listed an expected crowd of 500 to 999 people.
Security around the arena has been extensive. According to TMZ, the couple is expected to spend upward of $160,000 on police personnel, with more than 70 NYPD officers assigned to cover Thursday’s rehearsal and Friday’s main event.
Workers were seen hauling decor into the venue throughout the week, including foliage, a mirrorball, a grand piano and boxes marked “garden party” and “lobster meat.”
A notice posted outside the arena also warned that anyone entering between June 29 and July 3 would be filmed and required to agree to strict confidentiality regarding the event’s hosts and attendees.
