Prince Harry and Prince William‘s relationship is reportedly deeply fractured.
According to an insider, there’s a slim chance the brothers will ever be able to fix the issues between them properly after years of feuding.
Harry and William’s relationship ‘will never be what it used to be’
Although Harry and King Charles III are reportedly working to mend their dynamic, a source claimed the same cannot be said for the Duke of Sussex and William.
“The relationship between Harry and William will never be what it used to be,” an insider told Us Weekly.
During Harry’s recent trip to England to see their father, the Prince of Wales was not present.
Kate ‘supports’ where William is ’emotionally’
Per the source, Kate Middleton is holding out hope that William will come around to the idea of seeing his younger sibling.
“Kate values harmony, but she also supports where William is emotionally,” the source claimed.
“She would love for things to come together and be repaired, but will support William and his timeline,” the insider noted.
The idea has been ‘floated’ of Harry and Meghan visiting for the holidays
With lines of communication open between Harry and Charles, the source believes there’s a possibility that the 41-year-old and Meghan Markle could bring their kids to the U.K. for the holidays.
“That idea has been floated as a possibility, so that William and Kate and their kids could see them at the next visit,” the source noted.
“There’s still a lot of hurt, and it’s going to take time to heal,” they added.
William holds a ‘much firmer line’ than Charles when it comes to Harry
Royal expert Dan Wakeford feels that because William carries the responsibility of bringing the monarchy into the future, he cannot be open to reconciling with the Spare author.
“[William’s] stance has not changed and they would not arrange to see Harry and Meghan [Markle] outside an official public engagement,” the commentator told Fox News Digital.
“I don’t even think that is going to happen,” Wakeford claimed. “That’s a much firmer line than Charles’ side of the street.”
