Pamela Anderson is closing the door on a return to Baywatch, even as several of her former co-stars prepare to revisit the franchise.
The actress, who became an international star playing CJ. Parker, revealed that Fox’s upcoming series has not approached her about making an appearance. However, there were apparently discussions about involving her sons behind the scenes.
“No one’s reached out to me. I don’t know much about it. I know that they were talking to my sons at some point about producing, but I don’t think they had a meeting of the minds,” Pamela told Deadline. “I’m not sure what happened there, but I wish them well.”

Pamela said she might have entertained the idea if her sons had joined the production.
“If my kids were involved, I probably would have listened to them,” she explained. “I think I’ve just got to keep on seeing what else is out there.”
She added, “I want to make really bold choices. I want to surprise people. I want to surprise myself.”
Following the acclaim for The Last Showgirl, Pamela appears in the dark comedy Rosebush Pruning, playing in select theaters now. She described her current run of independent projects as a “second chance” she does not intend to take for granted.
