On Sunday, July 26, Ms. Rachel took to Threads to share a message with her more than 2.3 million followers. “We know the investigation and everything that followed would have been different if Nolan Wells were white and his friends were black. Nolan and his family deserve justice,” she wrote.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Ms. Rchael’s comment arrives amid comments from Nolan Wells’ “best friends” Warren Hudson and Tracestin Shepherd. Most recently, Hudson alleged that no content was deleted from Wells’ phone, despite his parents feeling otherwise. Additionally, Shepherd spoke on feeling backstabbed by the Black community, and feeling “blamed” for what happened to Wells.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Crump responded to Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves, saying that he and Rev. Al Sharpton stoked division. This, while a report has asserted that Wells’ friends have been served with spoliation letters.
