Love Island USA Season 6 alum and the winner of The Traitors Season 4, Rob Rausch, recently debuted his new haircut on his Instagram Stories.
Rausch took to the social media platform on June 3, sharing a mirror selfie taken at the gym. In the photo, the reality TV star flaunted his muscles (featuring his iconic snake tattoo) and the new buzz cut that replaced his brown, voluminous locks. He completed the look with a black tank top and a silver chain neckpiece.
The photo has since left Rausch’s fans surprised, with many of them taking to social media to share their opinions on his shaven head. “I don’t want to be this attracted to a straight white man,” one person tweeted, while another wrote, “Annoyingly hot.”
However, most of the people who reacted to Rausch’s new hairstyle didn’t seem to approve of it. Comments that didn’t support the influencer’s decision ranged from “he doesn’t have the face card for this tbh” and “a buzzcut is not for every white boy. This looks bad… He looks sickly.”
One person stated, “He looks super old and aged.”

Rausch probably doesn’t mind being the center of attraction. In an April interview with OK!, he shared that he’s embracing the attention he’s been getting since his big victory on The Traitors.
“I’m still trying to get my bearings. I’ve been doing a lot of press and traveling. I’m ready for things to slow down a little bit, but it’s been good. I’m really grateful for the opportunities,” he said.

Meanwhile, in March, Rausch told Today that he has always had a low-maintenance hair routine, which only includes the occasional use of a sea salt spray. “I just kind of wake up, tussle it a bit,” he said.
The social media personality doesn’t spend much time, money, or energy on skincare either, even when he is outdoors for long stretches. As it turns out, his hometown of Florence, Ala., plays a big role in keeping his skin hydrated and fresh.

When asked about what he does to protect his skin, Rausch told the outlet, “I just drink a lot of water, pray. Luckily, I’m usually in a really humid climate. So that’s great for your skin, sweating. It’s good for you, just wash it off after.”
Depending on the season and how tan he wants to look, Rausch only uses SPF sometimes. “I’ll put sunscreen on in spring, and then once I get to my base tan — I’m usually super tan in the summer, I’m really pale right now — and once I get to that, I don’t really need it anymore,” he explained.
