Kelly Osbourne said she and her brother are planning a meaningful tribute to their late father, Ozzy Osbourne, as the family approaches the first Father’s Day since he died in 2025.
Speaking at the Mind x The Ricky Hatton Foundation charity auction in London on June 18, she told Us Weekly, “Me and my brother Louis are going to do something special for my dad this weekend.”
Addressing how she continues to navigate grief nearly a year after losing the heavy metal icon, Kelly noted, “I’m getting a little bit better every day. The pain will never go away, and I’ll never be the person I was before he died again. But I’m getting to know the new me.”
She said she is still figuring out her “new” self.
Ozzy died in July 2025 at the age of 76. His death was later attributed to a combination of cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease.

His family released a heartfelt statement at the time, noting, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
Ozzy is survived by his wife Sharon and their children Aimee, Kelly and Jack. He also had three older children, Jessica, Louis and Elliot, from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, with Elliot being Riley’s son from a past relationship.

In August 2025, Kelly took to her Instagram Stories to reflect on how she was coping.
“Grief is a strange thing. It sneaks up on you in waves — I will not be OK for a while — but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. I’m holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind (per Us Weekly),” she said.
In December 2025, Ozzy’s family came together to celebrate what would have marked his 77th birthday.
Kelly paid her tribute with an emotional message on Instagram, writing, “Happy birthday daddy you most certainly did not die an ordinary man! Life without you is hard but not a day goes by that I don’t dedicate my life to loving you and your legacy!”
