KATSEYE Gives Surprise Performance of ‘I Won’t Say I’m In Love’ From Hercules at D23 (Video)

Disney

KATSEYE hit the stage for a surprise performance on day three of Disney’s D23 Expo on Sunday (August 16) in Anaheim, Calif.

The girl group – Lara RajMegan SkiendielDaniela Avanzini, and Yoonchae – performed during the Disney Legends ceremony at Honda Center, as they helped honor Susan Egan.

Of course, Sophia Laforteza was absent as she is on a temporary hiatus from the group to focus on her mental health.

KATSEYE performed “I Won’t Say I’m In Love” from Hercules, which Susan originally sang for the 1997 animated movie.

You can watch a clip above, and stream the full performance on Disney+ when the Disney Legends awards ceremony drops on the streamer later tonight (August 16).

Susan is one of the iconic voices of Disney, including Megara from Hercules, of course, as well as originating Belle in the Beauty and the Beast Broadway adaptation!

Last year, Susan was also named the official godmother of the Disney Cruise Line ship, Disney Destiny, which “features spaces inspired by her legendary roles, including the beautifully themed Cafe Megara.”

“I dreamed of Broadway, as many do, and Disney gifted me that,” Susan shared in a statement via D23. “I had no idea at the time that the gift would prove to be open-ended – the company has allowed me to redefine myself multiple times and given me platforms to expand my reach and to participate in the storytelling that inspires and brings joy to so many. I am forever grateful for that.”
