Kate Middleton was met with a standing ovation as she arrived at the Royal Box alongside Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte for the men’s singles final on the last day of Wimbledon on Sunday, July 12.
The Princess of Wales, in her role as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, later presented the trophy to Jannik Sinner after the Italian defeated Alexander Zverev in four sets to defend his title. Prince Louis, however, was absent.
The appearance capped a busy fortnight for Kate, who had also presented the women’s trophy the day before and made a solo visit to the tournament earlier in July.
The Princess stepped out in an olive green dress for the occasion, wearing her hair down in soft, side-parted curls and finishing the look with clover-shaped drop earrings and nude pointed-toe heels.
She also wore the club’s signature purple-and-green ribbon, symbolizing her role as patron, a position she inherited from Queen Elizabeth II in 2016.
She carried a small matching handbag as she walked alongside her husband and children into the grounds. William, George, and Charlotte all coordinated in shades of blue, with George dressing in a navy suit, a striped tie, and a white shirt.

The family took their seats in the Royal Box alongside a roster of celebrities, including Anna Wintour, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Andrew Garfield, Tom Hiddleston, Rami Malek and Ben Stiller.
George and Charlotte watched as Sinner attempted to defend the title he won in 2025 over Carlos Alcaraz.

A day earlier, on July 11, the 44-year-old royal attended the tournament alone to watch the women’s singles final, wearing a cherry red dress for the occasion. She presented the Venus Rosewater Dish to 21-year-old Czech player Linda Noskova, who won the title after fighting off a comeback attempt from Karolina Muchova.
Kate’s appearance at the men’s final marked her third visit to Wimbledon this year. She had first returned to the grounds on July 2 for a solo, early-round appearance, her first time watching first-week play since 2023.
As patron, the royal mother of three carries out the ceremonial duty of presenting trophies to both the winners and runners-up of the singles finals each year. The Wimbledon men’s final has become a fixture on the family’s summer calendar, with Kate bringing William, George and Charlotte to the match in both 2023 and 2025.

Sinner retained the men’s singles crown, securing his fifth Grand Slam title and his sixth title of the year overall. Zverev, playing in his first Wimbledon final despite nine previous appearances, took the opening set tie-break 9-7 before Sinner regrouped to win the next three sets.
Following the match, Zverev praised his opponent during the trophy ceremony, calling him the best player in the world and reflecting on his own run through the draw.
