Social media personality Brianna Johnson, 21, who was known online as DreamDoll Brii, was killed in a shooting in Miramar, Fla., early on July 5.

Johnson, who had amassed more than 400,000 combined followers across Instagram and TikTok, was riding in a green Lamborghini with two other people when the vehicle came under gunfire from another car that was following them, according to the Miramar Police Department.
Police responded to the scene at approximately 5:33 a.m. after the Lamborghini crashed into a home on a residential street. Officers found all three occupants suffering from gunshot wounds. Johnson was pronounced dead, while the two other victims were transported to a hospital. One remains in critical condition.
Active investigation into the shooting
Investigators have launched what police described as an active investigation into the shooting. Detectives are reviewing evidence gathered from social media, including a post that allegedly shows an altercation involving the green Lamborghini at a gas station before the shooting.
“It looks and sounds and feels like a targeted shooting,” a police spokesperson said, noting, however, that it is still “too early to tell.”
Johnson built a sizable online following by posting lifestyle content and also pursued music, appearing on several tracks including the TikTok-viral song “BEND OVA” by rapper Sadity Rackz. Her final social media update came on June 29 when she posted photos of herself posing with a vehicle alongside the caption, “Pretty fly b****.”
