Hayden Panettiere‘s mother Lesley Vogel has released a third statement regarding the death of her daughter.
Lesley has faced backlash for her initial statement on Hayden‘s shocking passing at the age of 36. She was even called out by a well-regarded news anchor for her choice of words. Her second statement revealed some new details on the investigation.
Lesley Vogel seemed to blame Brian Hickerson for her death
“Although my daughter and I were estranged, it was not for lack of care or love. It was due to the involvement of a toxic individual who I believe led to her death,” she told ET. Lesley did not name Brian Hickerson specifically, but Hayden has a history with him. He was allegedly with her when she passed.
“Hayden was a beautiful and talented young woman who unfortunately became involved with the wrong person, and although her family tried to extricate him from her life, we were unable to be successful,” she said. “It leads me to believe there are still questions surrounding what happened. And I think we are all looking for answers.”?

The autopsy was officially performed and the coroner shared a statement on some findings. Reports suggest it could have been an overdose.
