Elton John is celebrating a major milestone in his sobriety journey!
On Wednesday (July 20), the 70-year-old EGOT winner took to Instagram to mark more than three decades of sobriety.
“36 years sober today,” Elton wrote. “Raising a 0% glass to life. Grateful for every single day.”
In the accompanying photo, Elton is has a big smile on his face as he enjoys a meal outdoors and holds up a glass of his Elton John Zero Blanc de Blancs as the bottle rests on ice in a wine bucket.
Elton set the post to his 1983 mega-hit song “I’m Still Standing.”
If you didn’t know, Elton and his husband David Furnish launched Elton John Zero in January 2026.
