Alan Ritchson thinks Donald Trump should be locked up.
During a recent appearance on Josh Horowitz‘s “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, the Reacher star demanded the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, saying the president “should go to jail.”
Throughout the conversation, Ritchson questioned why all the files aren’t public and encouraged other actors to be more outspoken.
‘Speak up’
Ritchson was first asked why so many actors seem reluctant to speak their minds.
“People, I think, are a little bit afraid of me because they’re like, ‘He’s a loose cannon.’ And I’m not. I’m just saying the s*** that everybody should say if they give a s*** about humanity,” he replied.
He also urged others in Hollywood to follow his lead and use their voices. “Everybody else, speak up. You are all feeling the same thing, you idiots.”
“Get loud and stop cowtowing to the wrong people. Stop bowing down to people that have power. You got power, too. The power in numbers.”
Explicit rant
Ritchson then went on an explicit rant about the Epstein files. “The Epstein files. The f****** Epstein files. God d*** it. Where are they? It’s a f****** law. Show it. You f****** p*********.”
The actor briefly paused to apologize for his language, saying, “I shouldn’t say f*** because I’m a Christian. … Because that is something that should make you want to say f***.”
He continued, “I would railroad these f******. I would get those Epstein files out in two seconds. Move out of the way. Give me the f****** vanilla envelope. I will get you the Epstein files.”
‘Go to jail’
Ritchson questioned why the public still doesn’t have access to all of the files after the Justice Department began releasing documents in December 2025.
“Don’t you want to see what’s in there so that we can hold people accountable?” he asked. “These f****** rapists. We’re just cool with it?”
The actor then called out Trump, whose name reportedly appears tens of thousands of times in the files, adding, “That b**** has the keys to the nuclear… Like, dude, what? Go to jail. Go to jail.”
Celebrities speak out
Ritchson isn’t the only celebrity calling out how the Epstein files have been handled.
Pop star Dua Lipa has criticized the lack of compassion shown for the victims named in the files, many of whom were minors.
Earlier this year, on the “Service 95 Book Club” podcast, the singer said, “The way that the crimes have been reported, and the language that’s been used, has been doing such a disservice to all the victims.”
“I keep thinking about all the stories that talk about the underage girls and the s** parties, rather than writing about the victims that were children who were trafficked,” she continued.
“It’s putting everything under some kind of veil to protect — I don’t know who, [maybe] the reader — or trying to mask what is happening,” she added.
