Prince William and Kate Middleton will ensure their kids get to have a normal adolescence.
According to royal author Simon Vigar, the future king and queen of England will use a tactic they used while they were dating to protect Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis and their future partners.

When William and Kate were attending college as young adults, the U.K. media mostly left them alone due to a informal arrangement.
“The University of St. Andrews was great for William and Kate. The British media should get some credit here,” the journalist told GB News.
“The Gentleman’s Agreement to leave William alone at university did hold and of course, it was a camera crew from a TV company owned by his uncle [Prince] Edward — that was the only one that actually broke it,” Vigar said.
George, Charlotte and Louis will get the same treatment
When the couple’s three kids grow up, the reporter believes they will get the same treatment as their parents did.
“In terms of when George, Charlotte and Louis complete university, once they’re in their 20s, I think it’ll be a similar deal,” Vigar claimed.
“Privacy law is changing all the time,” he continued. “There will be similar conversations. I would have thought occasional public bust-ups as well about what can be printed about the people that we know are going out with the young royals… it’ll definitely develop.”
William’s children will be apart of the ‘change’ he wants in the monarchy
The Prince of Wales has often spoken about how he wants to overhaul the monarchy when he becomes king. According to the commentator, protecting his offspring will be a major part of that.
“William dropped those big hints in the Apple documentary, talking actually about the changes that he wants to make,” Vigar said in reference to William’s appearance on Eugene Levy‘s Apple TV+ documentary series The Reluctant Traveler.
“I put money on that being one of them,” he predicted.
Kate had a ‘slow introduction’ to royal life
Before marrying into the royal family, the former Duchess of Cambridge adjusted to being in the spotlight gradually over the years she and her spouse dated.
“It did work with Kate, the slow introduction into royal life,” Vigar noted.
“There was security when she was with William, but when she was on her own at the Middleton family flat in Chelsea with her sister [Pippa Middleton], there were worrying scenes outside with lots of photographers sometimes, but mostly it worked,” he said.
