Khloé Kardashian transformed her Hidden Hills mansion into “Tatumtopia” for son Tatum‘s 4th birthday on July 28, hosting an elaborate Zootopia-themed celebration.
The celebration doubled as a 20th birthday tribute for Tristan Thompson‘s younger brother, Amari, whose birthday fell the day before Tatum’s. Kardashian documented the party across her Instagram Stories, showing off costumed Zootopia characters, a rabbit petting zoo and towering custom cakes for both birthday boys.
Guests entered through pastel balloon displays and custom street signs welcoming them to “Tatumtopia,” complete with life-size cutouts of Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde and other characters from the Disney film. Costumed performers playing Judy and Nick were also present at the party.
Before heading inside, kids stopped at a police academy-style check-in station, where they picked up badges, caps and animal ears to wear for the day. Once inside, guests could visit a petting zoo, a stuffed-animal-making station and a squishy-making station.
Family chef Khristianne Uy prepared the food and dessert spread, which carried the Zootopia theme through nearly every item. Tatum’s cake stood four tiers tall and featured Judy, Nick and other characters, topped with a giant doughnut bearing his name.
Amari’s cake also featured characters from Zootopia 2, including Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde and Gary De’Snake.
Kris Jenner made a surprise appearance during the party and joined her daughter for a house tour, which Kardashian shared with her Instagram followers. True, Kardashian and Thompson’s 8-year-old daughter attended alongside her cousin Dream Kardashian, who danced with Tatum alongside the costumed performers.
The Khloud founder also shared an Instagram post to celebrate Tatum’s birthday, posting several clips of them together, captioned, “Happy 4th birthday my angel boy.”
The day before the party, Kardashian posted a tribute to Amari on Instagram to mark his 20th birthday. She described him as one of God’s gentlest reminders of what truly matters, adding, “Everyone who knows you is better because of you.”
“Thank you for reminding us every single day how we should be so completely grateful for the smallest of things and what unconditional love, joy, grace, resilience and gratitude truly look like,” she added.
Kardashian has previously spoken about helping care for Amari, who lives with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy.
During her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, she opened up on how Thompson’s busy life as an NBA player prevents him from staying in one place and because it’s not possible for Amari to travel so much, she takes care of him.
She added that she loves “having Amari be a part of my family” and wants to “provide Amari with the best, most beautiful life that we know how. And he deserves that.”
Kardashian and Thompson continue to co-parent Tatum and True despite ending their relationship several years ago.
